I got my first ever chicken egg! One of my silkies finally paid rent! 🥳🥳 also Silkie feathers after rain and chicken snuggles made me super happy. 😁😆😍

Hearing my 8 year old get after her friends for not respecting the chickens. It’s such a great feeling to hear your child taking that kind of ownership and respectfulness towards animals and the rules we have in the family on their own. Made a momma proud 😍

When my job made me super frustrated I was able to go outside and be with my chickens. Fluff didn’t like how the older hen picked on her and came flying over to me and hid on my shoulder like MOM help!! 😆😆 made me giggle and the work stuff slid away! ❤️

I got a very scary 😆😆 fake hawk for my chicken and quail area and it scared my dog and I giggled 😁😁

Got to spend a whole hour with my chickens and my coffee this morning while the temps were still under 60 degrees. Oh how I love the cool weather…☕️🐥
