My point was, if most people are bitter when they lose, but you're happy for the sake of seeing others happy, then it might be preferable for you to lose because then everyone's happy!

If you can be happy while not winning the race, that means you can be happy where others might not be. Beating people isn't always a good thing :D

For me, that was oddly poetic...

But if you win in your mind, whether by being a good sport or being honestly happy to see others as the winner, you can always be a winner. A winner maybe not in the race, but in many other things.
