Thanks for the advice, this is my first attempt at hatching (sheesh who knew chickens would be so darn addictive!) I guess I should set them in the morning then as I have to work friday night and wouldnt be around to work with temps and humidity once eggs are set.

I just finished my homemade incubator. Basically a wooden box (3/4' plywood ) with a plastic viewing window. I have messed with the thermostat(wh type) for the last 24 hours, finally getting it to turn on at 99 and off at 100.9. The thermostat is now about an inch or so away from light bulb...
