Update: I've got the window on the top of the box glued on and have started working on wiring the thermostat. Getting closer!

The thermostat came in yesterday! Had to get a couple more things from Lowes but I think I'm all set now. Wish me luck!

Thank you! The video helped with the wiring (which I was confused on before lol) :) The only difference is I will be using a digital thermostat instead of a hot water heater thermostat.

Yes, true. I think there are a few that actually are digital on there. I'm glad something like that will work though, I would like to be able to get one at a pet store or something so I don't have to order it. Thanks again for your help!

So I was thinking, what about a temperature controller commonly used for reptiles? Like this one. http://m.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/zilla-500-watt-temperature-controllers# You can buy them at pet stores and it says it controls any heating device..? Just a thought.
