Very happy to report that Star ate a soft home made breakfast this morning and was put back with her CLAN which she seemed to want. She has been eating " Pecking" all day and it looks like she will be OK and the Super Glue worked.
I free ranged them all for awhile this afternoon and she did...

Oatmeal with olive oil and scrambed egg for bf. Maybe some canned peaches.
For lunch and dinner ( I guess we'll call it that ) I made ground turkey with rice, oil, french style green beans, egg and ground egg shell. Will warm it a touch in the am.

I checked on her before dark and observed her drinking water. She's not happy being separated from her clan but I think it's best for now.
Anyone have an idea how long it might take for this to heal and for her to be reintegrated?
Cyn..........Thanks for responding. Right now she is out laying in the corner of the pen and I am wondering if I should try to open the beak and at least get some water in her. She hasn't eaten or taken water for several hours. Any thoughts on that?

One of my Red Stars has a crack in her beak. I was in the run with them when it happened BUT, I didn't actually see what happened.
Suddenly, she started running around screeching. I noticed her beak was cracked and bloody.
I put her in with my 8 wk olds but that didn't work so I tried...
