looks like all 7 of my eggs were fertile....(the double yolker only shows development in one yolk so far so not sure how that works!) kept out some more today for possible set as I offed the daddys

well my first try at frankenstein triplets was a bust, but i’ve collected 7 more eggs this week to set! 3 silkieX and 4 from my EE’s. 1 of the EEs is a double yolker!! going to set with the plan of coordinating with my next quail hatch so will probably set tonight!!

:gigsince I now have way more chicken eggs than I could think about eating in the fridge, I have put aside 3 silkie and 1 EE egg so far to set as soon as I have free space in a bator. I cracked 5 yesterday from february and at least 1 was fertile. will be interesting mix as only 2 cockerels...
