    sexing royal palm turkey??

Looks like a hen, but... Does he/she strut? Young toms often start strutting as poults; rather funny to see a baby turkey strutting. Royal Palms are gorgeous birds. This guy lost a lot of feathers from his tail in a dog attack.

    sexing royal palm turkey??

I might be able to tell with a head close-up; front and side. Both toms and hens strut but it looks different. A tom will spreadout/fan his tail while a hen will lift her tail but it won't be fanned out nearly as much. Toms strut to show off and hens strut when they are upset/mad.
