    How is Chase Hatchery?

Last post for clarification. First my sister and I bought a bunch of sex chicks, 80% (of surviving chicks) turned out to be male. We lost several immediately due to coccidiosis. Made sure we had medication for said coccidiosis after that. Bought more pullets last year, after an animal attacked...

    How is Chase Hatchery?

I'm done talking to and about chase hatchery (well, unless I lose any more chickens). I am just putting up a warning. And if you want to buy there, wait a few months and see if this time the owner can keep the facility clean and there are no more issues with disease.

    How is Chase Hatchery?

    How is Chase Hatchery?

Tho, I agre with Luvpolish (whom I suspect is Chase Hatchery), don't take my word for it. I'd check it out for yourself. Tho, wait until later in the season when their facility isn't new. See if this year she actually keeps it clean and not the filthy conditions of years past.

Watching your beautiful, happy and seemingly healthy flock die horrible deaths with Marek's (and one customer having a confirmed case after having her bird tested after losing her flock) symptoms is not due to people being spoiled and nasty. It's heartbreaking. Marek's isn't...

    How is Chase Hatchery?

Don't go to Chase Hatchery. The place is full of filth and disease. After the year of death I had last year thanks to her chickens I almost gave up on owning chickens. She sells straight run chicks as Sexed, some end up being mixed breeds, and be prepared to deal with illness and death. It's sad...
