Bill color only works right after hatching. Once you hit 2-3 days old their bills have already changed. Did you hatch them yourself? If not it's too late to bill sex and you will need to vent sex or wait till their voices changed.

I found the leg tape reference is only true when you order males and females otherwise they have whatever leg tapes of you get all girls. I got all girls and their leg tapes didn't match up with their sex or breed.

My welsh harlequin from Metzer was also really dark and was the last one out of my group to start quacking at 6 weeks. I was really, really worried for a while but it was all for nothing. I would trust that they have given you your correct order. You can look through my pics and see what she was...

Thanks, she could come over for a while... But I'm quite fond of her. You need to get some WH! I really love how sweet and chill she is.

Do they 100% guarantee their sex? Most hatcheries only have a 90% accurately rate.

As long as you only have males they should be fine together. If you have chicken though that won't be good for them.

My boys sounded like girls for a few days and then they were 100% bits after that. I got so excited and then when I double check what I heard 2 days later, that was it. Here is a link that has sound for each and some other info on sex http://www.majesticwaterfowl.org/artquacks.htm

I'm sorry I sounded high and mighty. I think you should get the breed you are most drawn to. Spend as much time as possible with them from the get go and they should be friendly and tame. I think welsh harlequins are so pretty and they need help bringing up their numbers so I know I had to...

I'm not trying to be mean or anything. So please don't take it as that. You have asked many times and have gotten many answers from several people. There is nothing wrong with getting lots of opinions, I just wanted to point out that we aren't ignoring you.

Most of us have answered in one of your various threads that ask about which is the best. Yes they make good pets. What are you looking for? Meat, eggs or just pets? My welsh is very easy to catch but doesn't necessarily like to be picked up. She deals the best with it out of my flock and...

By bill color I don't know about the first but middle girl and end boy. I don't know how accurate that is though. Any quacking? http://www.majesticwaterfowl.org/artquacks.htm

They do breed some but not all their own. So they could come from several different places. They also charge $50 shipping for small number of birds. Metzer charges $40 min and then less for shipping. All saying is that it is expensive when you only want a small number and it's about the...
