    Brinsea support is no help at all , any thoughts? I'm going to loosen the hex nut and pull it out, that's where the timer mechanism would go if it was the fancier model.

    Brinsea Chicksafe Eco opener wound too tight, reset not working.

    Hi all, I was trying to set up my new brinsea door opener and the cord slipped out of my door and it now wound too taught. I've tried the reset instructions a few times and it's not working. Any ideas? Can I get an Alan wrench and loosen the motor?
