We have 11 chicks now, and 2 more zipping in the bator. How many chicks is too many for one hen to handle?

Total of 5 hatched under my broody, now we have 3 pips in the bator! Checked again to be sure but it is only day 19. Its been hot here, 95+. Maybe thats the reason for the early hatch.

We have 4 fluff butts at day 19. These are Ameraucanas fresh out of their green eggs.

Its day 18 for my dual hatch, 5 eggs under a broody EE and 14 in my bator. I set them both up with eggs the same day, but the broody started about 2 hours before I put eggs in the bator. We have a pip under the broody, peeps are nice and loud!
