    well... i need peoples help desperately!! 15% weight loss in a duck egg during incubation... how would that reflect into the air sac as I am worried that at day 18, the air sac is not big enough... I have removed the water, bumped up the temperature by .2 of a degree... and just read that...

    Various reasons can cause death in shell... too high humidity... too low... the porousness of the eggs can effect how much is lost or retained... there are so many factors to consider as each egg is going to be different... at the moment one of my eggs has a huge air sac and the rest are far...

    well... half way in and my indian runner ducklings are formed within the egg... YAY... only one casualty at the beginning of incubation... first time incubating eggs so I found that one egg had a much larger air sac than the rest, filled both trays to compensate and now having to have no water...

    I have 6 indian runner duck eggs in since march 8th... very excited... have chickens... ordered the duck eggs... waiting to candle them in 3-4 days... using a brinsea mini eco advance... wondering if anyone can tell me if i should only keep one reservoir filled or both...
