    Interesting, guess I never thought about that since my nests are are external to the coop. But with more thought, they do like to sit on the chicken ramp exiting the coop. So, still learning something new everyday.

    Do you really think they'll roost on then nests - I'm far from an engineer, but looks like enough slope to keep them off of those? I agree about the roosts - the minimum in texts is 12 " - but IMO at least 18 inches off the wall is best and keeps splatters off the wall. @WoeiHaveChicken...
