    Oh gosh, I was expecting the dogs to be torn in half! He really doesn't look that bad. I've seen much worse do perfectly fine with less treatment than you're doing. I really think he'll be fine, not that it is much consolation to you, I know how scary it is. Hopefully the girl will be OK too...

    It's an antibiotic, probably called Combi-Pen or Duo-Pen or something similar, it will be refrigerated. An employee should be able to point you to it. It's just given under the skin, like a vaccine. Some last 24 hours and some 48, you'll just have to read the bottle.

    Keep them clean and you can start them on injectable penicillin from the feedstore. It's usually 1mL/10 lbs once daily (under the skin, not in the muscle). These fights are only going to get a lot worse and more frequent unless y'all begin some extreme obedience training and impart some safety...
