I don't think I would put wire of any kind as flooring . It would kinda be like you walking on rocks 24/7 .... Very uncomfortable . If it's only 4' x3' , it shouldn't be too hard to clean out with a regular wood floor . Not sure on the heighth of the nesting boxes , I have 19 hens and at least 2...
