Thanks everyone but i finally found the culprit,, one female muscovy duck caught her eating one, sorry to say she is no longer part of my flock, havent had a loss since....
i went out one day the first time i noticed it , a hen had a chick running around with it and it was badly hurt, but it wasnt like within an hour all those from the first brood were gone, i removed that hen hoping to solve the problem but it didnt, i dont think i have a problem with critters...
I had another hen to start sitting today, it was the hen whose chicks were first to fall victim to these canibal hens that i now have...
so what do i do, do i move her now or wait. im scared they will attack her eggs now?

Yes they were higer rank hens, but this is still shocking as stated in the earlier post i have never had this problem until now, and ive always heard once the hen starts to sit on the eggs you dont need to move her, because it will make her not sit the eggs no more, so whats the best way to do...
