You can not really see it in this picture, but he got in a fight with our other rooster, who we got rid of yesterday, and he has been injured on his foot. He seems fine, but his crown is flopped down. Can roosters control their crown shape, whether it is up or flopped to the side? Also, is it bad to let the hens in the same coop area as he is, because as you can see from the picture, they can not go into his area.

How is he behaving? How bad is the limp? Is his comb bleeding at all?
He is not moving, he only relocates so that he is not sitting on a pile of poop. His poop has green in it, vs the normal brown or black. He was limping, but he has been sitting down, and he is immobile. His comb is not bleeding, but it is flopped over to one side.

That sounds pretty serious. He could have an infection. It might be wise to put him on antibiotics, in case he is getting a blood infection.

Get him on vitamins and keep him warm and comfortable. Clean all wounds and put antibiotic ointment on them. Watch out for flies and maggots on the wounds.

Where do I get antibiotics and vitamins? He doesn't seem to have any wounds. Could you check out the other post that I recently made about this injured rooster. I got a better picture. BTW the rooster's sitting down 24/7.
