Hi guys. Can someone please explain why this is happening.

Is that a shelled egg inside a membrane?

That can happen to chickens sometimes, probably quail too.
Shelled egg backs up and gets encased in the next egg coming down the line.
Are these new layers?
Could just be a glitch...or a more serious anatomy issue.
You say it's happened 3 times?
3 times in a year, 3 times in a week??
Do you know if it's the same bird that's laying these?

When i say it happened 3times it was in the last 3months. They are not new layers and i suspect that this is the same hen because i used to get an egg a day per hen then it whent one short every few days but when she lays eggs its uge and all her eggs that she is giving me is almost double the size of normal quail eggs.
