Does anyone have photos of what a "fluffy" chicken looks like? I'm just trying to look out for coccidiosis in my 4 month olds and don't really know what a fluffy chicken looks like. Thanks!

Symptoms include lethargy, huddling/fluffed up appearance, diahrea with mucous or blood, going off feed and acting chilled.

I have a very fluffy chicken. You will know when you have one. I hope I'm not too late and corid will do the trick. She just sits puffed up in a ball and appears to be shivering.

Here is my fluffy pullet
she just looks like a football, you can't tell where her head, tail or feet are, she doesn't stretch her neck out and sits crouched down or huddled with wings dropping and feet covered. I was gone almost 3 hours and when I got home she was in the exact same position I'd left her.- Thread starter

Thanks PirateGirl. I hope she feels better. I wonder why they fluff themselves up like that?
I don't know but I've had parrots and parakeets and they do the same thing. If they don't feel well they get all fluffed up and don't move much. I know birds use their feathers to regulate temperature so maybe it's a sign of fever??
