To the top bidder, I will mail 6+ eggs from my black breasted red rosecombs. My birds come from the lines of two respected breeders, Rick Harr and Katherine Plummer. My breeding pen houses two roosters and four hens and none of them have any disqualifications. They are typey, strutty little birds and very nice to have around! Imagine Foghorn Leghorn's color in a tiny, 26 ounce rooster! Bidding starts at $1. See photos below.
Fertility is good and my hens lay quite frequently for this breed with me collecting 2-3 eggs a day from 4 hens. Eggs will be freshly collected and no more than 3 days old when mailed. Each egg is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then placed in either Styrofoam peanuts or sawdust as a cushioning agent. Mailing service will be by USPS Priority. This is a PayPal only auction and payment is expected by midnight on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 so eggs can be mailed the following day. No e-checks, please!
