This is whre my 5 live - the hoop house is made from 16'x4' cattle panels, giving them an 8x10 "run". Its attached for now to the future chicken coop which has two levels - a covered run area and "upstairs"coop as well - its about 6x8.
 
I converted a 6x12' dog pen into a turkey coop. I have 2 turkey hens. It's a temporary deal. I've had them for about 3 weeks maybe 4. After 2 weeks I let them out to free range. They are very good, stay with the chickens. The only problem is they don't go back in the pen........ ugh. They like to rooster over one of the chicken coops. So, I have to go get them and put them in there coops. Darn there nails are sharp!!! I am getting better at it though........ lol. Eventually I may just let them roost outside. I live in southeastern NC where the weather doesn't get super cold during the winter. A few cold snaps and rarely any snow.
