Hello all!
This is the first time i've ever hatched eggs, and nothing seems to be going normally!
in lieu of a long story, i'll just give the facts
on March 17th we put in 8 muscovy eggs and 4 Rouen eggs.
one Muscovy egg stopped developing around day 7, but other than that, everything has been great!
Yesterday we had one Roeun egg pip through, and start to break out, and then it died. we had another Rouen egg hatch completely, but his yolk was not absorbed and he died after a few hours
2 more i can hear tapping, but havent pipped or anything yet.
today, much to my surprise i found a tiny hole in a muscovy egg! I thought it had gotten cracked accidentally, and i went to candle it, figuring duckling had died, but duckling was peeping! and in the air space!
what in the WORLD is going on? a muscovy egg hatching 6 days early?
any advice is much appreciated!
