Here's a pic of our work in progress. My main concern is ventilation during the winter. We live in the Pacific Northwest so it gets very wet and fairly cold, though I've read on here they can handle temps much colder than ours. The roost sits a bit above the bottom of the window, but they crouch down enough when they sit to not have air blowing directly onto them from the triangle vents (hopefully it stays that way as they get bigger). I believe Tyler is also making a flap for the front vent similar to the triangular ones on the sides. The window in front can open also for breeze in the summer time. If my math is correct, the triangle vents as well as the rectangular vent above the window alone should provide a little over 4 sq feet of vent space. We thought about adding ventilation on the back wall for cross wind, but that would be right at the level of their roosting bar. Is that ok as long as there is a flap to prevent direct wind? Depending on how many roos we wind up with we'll probably have 4-5 chickens. 12 sq ft inside coop and 24 sq ft of run space. We'll likely free range them some as well. The nesting box is attached to the back of the coop which you can't see here.

Ground clearance will be 2 inches for the wheels. We do have some hardware cloth sticking below the frame a bit to discourage predators. We live in the city with good fencing all around, so dogs are not an issue... except mine but she's only outside long enough to potty. She's a couch potato.
Since we are free ranging also, I figure the run itself doesn't have to be super secure- as long as the coop is. Thoughts? A skirt or landscaping bricks seems like such a pain.
