Hey all.
i have read all the threads on bantams and lf doing fine together and wanted to get 2 lf pullets for eggs.
I have a flock of 4 pekin bantams (soon to grow to 6), i also have a 4 month old Black Australorp(mix) roo. i wanted to know if adding two lf gilrs to my flock will take the Roo's attention off my small pekins/cochins.
The pekins are 4 months old currently, my plan was to get lf pullets to "occupy" my Roo.
The breeds i can get are for my 2 lf are wyandotte or light sussex.
i read that wyandotte's and sussex are smallish for lf and very friendly and good producers. Would you pick 2 light sussex or 2 wyandottes? Would either do well with my pekins?
If it is still going to be a problem i will fence off half my garden for my banties.
hope all is well and it isnt too hot there still.
Andy
