The Old Folks Home

There was a traveling Shipshewana that came to Grand Rapids 30+ years ago. I was excited to go. I was sorely disappointed. It was an oversized flea market of cheap crap. I don't think there was any home made stuff at all. I saw a booth of yarn (which interested me, being a spinner and knitter) and it was all Red Heart! (Brand name, acrylic) It looked like they'd cleaned out a K-mart or some other discount store to just resell. :sick
That pretty well sums it up! I do think there are some neat shops uptown at least that`s what my wife said. That was years ago though! When I was the head maintenance man for our local School Corp. I hated going there it took me forever to get through town. Of course the Elementary School was about the same as uptown! 😵

I did do the gutters in the backyard. Our small ladder was enough for me to not hang from them.
Little leery doing the front gutters have to reach it from the roof.
My balance is a bit off, and vertigo can happen anytime.
