Sleet transitioned to freezing rain by this morning, the roads were treacherous but it wasn't enough to down power lines or do any serious damage. Now it's snowing again.

Fine here too. A bit more washing out on our road. Hubby's patches and fill ins on our slope held pretty darn well. We were impressed.

While it's in my head, I have cutlery to bring to ChickenStock in June. Ok if I bring my GF chocolate cake? I only make it if I can take it somewhere, and I haven't had any since last year's ChickenStock.

I'm going to try to make it there this year. Not sure yet as I'll still be in the "recovery period" and don't know if I will be able to handle the long ride there and back. But, if I can, I'll bring some of my mounds bars. I think that's what I used to bring.

We had some hail, thunder and lightning.

How big was the hail? I heard reports that Grand Rapids and west of there had some 2" diameter hail.

High winds tonight into tomorrow. I'd trade this for "just winter hanging on" with snow and cold.
