they all look like cockerels combs are way to red and developed for pullets...any updates?

why didnt you keep one of the blue barred? i hear they are very hard to come by as i have been looking and looking for blue barred cocken for awhile now.
 
I am working on improving partridge. I was considering breeding self blue barred as they are rare here too, but the girls here are not great. These have gone to a breeder friend of mine. He is going to continue. I only have a back yard. He has over 50 pens. So might start that when my partridges are looking better. Those two boys are beautiful now. The black cockerel is going to a birchen project

I know this is an old post but would you happen to have any pics of these chicks when they were a week old? I just bought 3 and I think one may be frizzled! I'm so excited! It's it's just getting it's wing feathers but they're all cockeyed and weird looking. I know they have the frizzle gene because she breeds sizzles. Any info would be great.
