Okay this is a thread where my chickens write about their day. It's their journal.
Bisquick:
Hi, my name is Bisquick Marie Stoltzfus. This morning I slept in. It's Saturday!!! Yesterday we got our report cards for the semester from Pine Cone Coopshooling Group. My highest grade was an A- in Digging and H.T.M.A.D. (How To Make A Dustbath) Those are my two favorite classes. It was even flurrying a bit outside!!!! It's getting to be so cold!!!!!!!!!!! -Bisquick Marie
Buttermilk:
Good afternoon my name is Buttermilk Joy Stoltzfus!!! Well, cold afternoon that is. It's flurrying outside!!! I like to watch snow cause it's pretty, but NUH-UH snow is WAY too cold to play in!!!!! But, snow does cheer up winter a bit.
Today I slept in then I preened my feathers, then we had breakfast. Mommy made us oatmeal and gave us some shapes!!! (me note: shapes are cat food. I give 'em that so that Snap and Jr.'s feathers will grow back sooner) I love shapes, and oatmeal. :3 ~~Buttermilk Joy

Hola!! My name is Snapptston Sofia Stoltzfus, but everyone calls me Snap. Now, onto my entry.... BRRRRRR!!!!!! IT'S SOOOOO COOLD!!!!! I peeked outside when Mommy came to wake us up, and it was flurryinging!!! (Bisquick: Just one 'ing' Snap.) Oh, flurrying. Anyways, Buttermilk spent like the whole morning preening her feathers!!!!!! Mommy gave us oatmeal and shapes!!!
I love shapes. Supposedly they're supposed to help me and Juni grow our feathers back sooner! Oh well, I just think they're good to eat!! --~~-- Snappston Sofia

Hello!!! My names is Junior Olivia Stoltfus. I'm a bantam Barred Plymouth Rock and at the bottom of a very small pecking order. My best friends are Steven and Amelia, and Snap too. I have three sisters Bisquick and Buttermilk (they're New Hampshire Reds) and Snap. She's a Barred Rock too. Anyways, this morning it was flurrying out, and Mommy made us oatmeal and gave us shapes!! Right now I'm molting, well actually I'm growing back my feathers. I'm gonna have a tail!!! You see, before I molted my tail was very scraggly, then I got chased by a dog, and so then it was really scraggly. But, now I'm gonna have a pretty one like my other sisters!!!! And so we had to leave our luxurious dustbath in the sun and go in again.
