Sweet Pea one of the two remaining Rhode Island Red hens died last night. She was born on 8/16/17 so 4 months short of 7 years. She would snuggle her head under my arm the first winter to keep warm. She is the one that got frost bite on her comb a few years ago. So now I have 4 hens and 3-6 ducks that hang out in the yard... they must be my neighbors ducks.
