Just created a home made incubator. Temperature is perfect but can't get the humidity to go past 40%. Tried a big pan of water in the bottom, sponges, you name it. It is a fish tank with a grated top which we covered most of it. Not using a fan, do I need to? Can you mist the sides of the tank like you would do with a reptile's tank and not get any water on the eggs? I did that in the past with pet lizards and the humidity shot up.
