How to tell if a baby chick is a hen or rooster?

Mostly you want to look for early comb and wattle development and redness. Cockerels will also normally have thicker legs.

What age?
You can tell by pin feathers on their wings if they are female when thy first hatch. Also after about a week females get their tail feathers first. By week three look for comb redness. After that you need me to look at them. When they are about five months you can tell distinct variations.
There are some breeds, mostly the fast feathering breeds, that you can feather sex within the first few days, but not all breeds.

Can someone tell me the age for my isa brown chook pls... They ain't the best but it's the best I can get of her. I was told she was mths old but I don't think she is
