Got the concept from this site but modified it to work for dabbling ducks. The water level is about 1 1/2 inch. While the hole to drink from us another 2 inches from the water line. So when they dabble it does not splash out. The whole thing sits in another container to catch dribbles after they drink. There will always be some water on the bedding, but is greatly reduced!
