I spent my weekend cleaning out the old bedding, fixing a few water leak issues around the pop door and applying some water seal on the flooring. Late this afternoon I decided I had to get new vinyl flooring (you'll see why in the picture). Since I wasn't sure how long I'd be gone I decided to put the old vinyl back in and lock the chickens in the coop for safety. I got home around dusk tonight and started finishing up. This was what I found in the corner where the nesting boxes normally are (I had taken them out to clean). Go figure one of them starts laying when there was no bedding and no nesting boxes
Here is my beautiful daughter who was so excited for this egg! I'm betting she cries when I cook it, she wanted to keep it in her bedroom
