What age do Muscovy ducks start laying?

Your girls won't lay till next spring,. Scovy's take a while usually 5-7 months to start laying which is better on their bodies. any ducks hatched this year won't lay till next. Anyway that's the way it's always been here.

Agreed, most will miss this year as fall is approaching rather quickly, i have had some come into lay as early as 4mths but the average is more like 5mths and up.

My march baby did start to lay, so right in the in between age 6mths.. she's ceased though with the cool temps at night and shorter days. My ducks have all ceased which is typical to last years, they stopped in Oct and resumed in Feb of the following year.
