This is the same location (my Okie yard) the same ice that I photographed in the thread Okie Ice, but I decided to try some night ice photography, not very easy for sure, some of these pics are better then others, focusing at night w/o extra lighting equipment not very easy, open shudder speed and a light breeze, even worse on focus.

Mine didn't turn out as well as yours.

The red in the ice is from the neighbor's security light, about 1/4 mile away. It looks better bigger, so click the photo and you can see what I mean.

Quote: Several of mine have diff colors of light reflected in the ice from security or holiday lights. Good job on yours it is really hard to get a good crisp focus.

Beautiful pictures the one with the moon would be perfect to enlarge and frame

Our worlds don't look so far apart right now. I tried to get that sparkling light coming through the branches too but it just didn't translate in the photographs well enough.

The sun finally came out today and it got above freezing so most is gone now. I did go get shots w/ it sparkling in the sun, haven't looked yet so not sure how they turned out. Over exposure is such a problem w/ all that bright light.
