I have a 4 months old rooster and 4 months old pullet (my mom said if I pull their back tail feathers off they will grow" recently she had chickens before I was born) then I pulled there tail off now I am worring will their tail grow and will they be all right.
 
I don’t know what you were trying to gain by doing that but they will be OK. If you pulled the entire feather out it will grow back relatively soon. If you left part of the shaft in there the feathers will grow back when they molt.
 
Hmmm....growing feathers takes protein. Nature doesn't pluck anything out. I would suggest you do lots of reading here on BYC, and try not to pluck anything else out.
Everyone here was new to chickens at one time.
