hi i'd like to know how to tell what breed my chooks are - they are white with black spots and lay beige/brown eggs?

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. If you'll post some pics, we will be happy to take a look at your chooks. The only difference between white eggs and brown eggs is the color. There is no nutritional difference between the eggs. I've had both Wyandottes and Easter Eggers over the years and their lay rate is about the same. It depends somewhat on which brown egg parent breeds are involved in breeding the Easter Eggers, which are hybrids. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
