i have 5 quails which i have hatched and they are coming up to 2 months old and they are outside in a coop. i presume the fox has scared them and they have jumped around and hit their heads and three of their heads are bleeding and one of the quails eyes has a lot of fluid around it and i dont know what to do. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP!!!!

the one which has liquid in its eye keeps on scratching it and i dont know how to stop it

Coturnix have amazing ability to heal.... If its a injury as you believe I would guess its already well on the way to healing....Iv had birds that were the victim of aggression that I was sure the eye its self was gone. But two weeks later, you could hardly tell the bird was ever injured. Blu kote is great for all sorts of wounds, Head wounds included... but must be used with care around the eyes. It burns like wild fire if you happen to get it IN the eye. At 8 weeks of age I would strongly suspect aggression instead of a fox...They are coming of age and more territorial.... If it is disease rather than injury, the eye should be swelled larger, possibly spread to the other birds by now, the original bird may have been lost. What did you end up doing?

thanks everyone and in the end it had not lost its eye. also i believe it was the fox or a crow because all their heads had been scratched on the side of the coop. also they are all fine today with their fathers growing back nicely!
