Pet Quail Bleeding. HOW DO I TREAT IT?

My new quail is bleeding! I am not sure where from yet. I have gotten cotton pads, paper towels, water and hydrogen peroxide ready. I also have toenail clippers because I suspect that her overly long toenails might be the issue. Can anyone thing off anything else I might need? I have no iodine or disinfectant spray. It is on my shopping list :(
 
Bleeding has stopped. I trimmed her other nails as best I could with how long the quick on them are. I covered her shavings with papertowels for the next little while to discourage her from scratching. It seems to be working.
