Just hatched and ready to ship on 4/14. I have two different crossed lines of Barred Rocks. I started with the Good Shepard line but found hatchability to be poor. Last year I crossed that line with a Duckworth male that I obtained directly from Jamie Duckworth and I crossed the Good Shepard line with a Stukel male that came directly from Marvin Stukel.

This year, the Good Shepard/Duckworth pullets were bred to an unrelated Good Shepard cockerel, I have chicks from that breeding. And I bred the Good Shepard/Stukel crosses back to each other and have more chicks from those.

If you are looking for some diversity in your Barred Rocks or just want to start out with vigorous chicks, these will fit the bill. The hatchability of these has been close to 100%. Minimum order is 15 to ship. $8 each plus shipping and box. Message me or better, call 520-744-4211. These need to go out by tomorrow 4/14. Our post office does not ship birds out until evening so there is time tomorrow for a decision. I will take PayPal. Will know in the morning of 4/14 exactly how many have hatched but as of now, there are at least 20.

These have been sold, thanks!

Glad to have found you! Not ready at this time for barred rocks, but very interested for in the future! Your stock is beautiful! Hope you had a taker!!! Will keep you noted for when I am ready!
Would you work with a buyer to set a hatch and ship date???

@Sunflowergirl I actually prefer working with a buyer and hatch to order. These chicks were supposedly sold but the buyer never paid after giving me shipping information, phone #, etc. and did not respond to messages. That sort of behavior is why I usually don't set eggs until they are paid for, but I set extras anyway this time

I am pretty much done hatching for the season, although could set one more batch. It gets hot here early and sometime in May, the post office will stop shipping live birds out of Tucson because of the heat. You can always contact me in the future through my website as well: www.featheredreptilesfarm.weebly.com

Thank you for your website!!! Not ready for any this spring. I always like to be looking ahead and seeing where I can source quality chicks. Your breeding stock is quite stunning!!!
