I have a hen in my flock who always sleeps near the door of the coop. She keeps attacking any other hen who tries to go in at night and now i'm finding hens trying to sleep all over the run!
Does anyone have any advice for stopping this behaviour?
I have 6 ex-battery hens and one cockerel who all happily graze the garden throughout the day.
They use the coop to lay eggs but spend 90% of time outside.
I keep reading posts on well-behaved chickens who put themselves to bed, but I often have quite a task on my hands, ushering them out of...
Hi all,
I was wondering what time you put your ducks to bed? This is my first winter with ducks and it gets dark so early. We have Alexa alarms that blast through our house at 5pm but when I came back today it was dark by 4:30pm.
