    Switching "Wild" Bird(Dove) eggs with "Captive" Bird(Dove) eggs?

    This always had me wondering if I was to Switch a Ringneck dove egg with a Gray Fronted dove egg what will be the outcome? Would the ringneck dove egg hatch (of course it will) and the step parents/adoptive parents take care of it? ( of course) When it gets big and ready to leave its adoptive...
