chick not standing

    1 day old chick - splay leg or something else

    I have a day old chick who doesn't stand just scoots and flap about on it's tummy. Is this splay leg or could it be something else - one of it's feet seems a bit twisted. It hatched by itself.

    4 day old chick not standing

    One of my 4 day old chicks is no longer walking and cannot stand up. The flooring is not slippery in the brooder. Woke up to loud chirping and when I went to check in on them this chick was unable to get up. The chick hatched with no problems and from what I seen they all had no difficulties...
