Advice needed for predator proofing this

Sorry I'm not an artist lol but this is the area I'm planning to put our coop/run. We own 9.5 mostly wooded acres so there are predators galore out there. The coop (green) will be completely locked up at night with chickens inside. I'm going to make sure there are no gaps or holes for any...

    My First Coop

Went and checked out the chicken coop and I love it! It's perfect for my small flock of four! It's a 6 x 10 and you can enter the run and the coop. Which will hopefully make cleaning, feeding, and changing the water so much easier than the previous one we looked at. It's made with a nice thick...

    Stationary vs portable coop

Hi, guys, so I have 5 baby chicks right now and I’m really stressed about coop/run situation when they’re older. I currently live in a duplex where the 2.5 acres of back yard space is shared. The neighbors are okay with chickens but don’t want me to free range them which is totally understand. I...

Help me, PLEASE, find a compliant chicken coop and run !

Help! I am so frustrated. My County ordinance allows me to have 4 hens and no roosters. That is fine. But they require that each chicken have at least 3 sq. ft. in the coop and at least 10 sq. ft. in the "enclosure." Is "enclosure" the same thing as a run? Please let me know what you think...
