Noticed one of my 5 day old chicks has a small cut near her ear, about 1/4 of an inch (half a cm). This is my first time raising chicks so am quite panicked as obviously the others keep pecking at it. I only have one heat plate, however do have an animal heat pad, would I be alright to removed...
