Well heck, it’s day 9 and nothing seems to be happening with the eggs under my bantam cochin.
Do I need to hatch right now? Not really. But I was so excited for a hen to do it, and our little bantam cochin flock is so beautiful.

This is the first time I am trying to incubate some pheasant eggs (5 eggs). Here are the pictures of candling Day 9. Can someone plz guide me whether is there any sign of development in it or not?
I am still not sure about the fertility of eggs as I never see the pair doing some actions...
My wife and I are incubating eggs for the first time, and took a shot at candling after reading about it on here and other sites. The last babies we hatched were done with a broody hen, so we were pretty hands off with the process.
This time around we were super excited to candle and see...
