Feather lice on geese
My 8 week old gosling and my runner ducks have feather lice. I've dusted them with DE and cleaned their house and put DE there but they are still suffering. Feathers are starting to look raggedy! I can see the suckers on their feathers! Yikes! I've looked around and some people use Ivermectin... -
Lice!
So I got a rescued racing homer pigeon the other week, and today I was handing him as normal when I got home from work and I felt something crawling on me. It was two long, thin bugs. I googled, and sure enough, they're feather lice. They look exactly like this...- SniperGoose

Freaking feather lice!
alright, I’ve been treating my small flock (9) for about 5 weeks with poultry and garden powder for stupid feather lice. Is there anything (not ridiculously expensive) that I can buy and bathe them in that will kill all the lice AND the freaking eggs?? I’m so tired of having to do this every...- June Chick
