Checked on the birds this morning and had a couple of surprises: good and bad:
The Good: I got my first Egg!
The Bad: 2 of my Roos got into a fight and one was a bit bloodied. I cleaned him up and isolated him to recover.
My Hen:Roo ratio is lower than I'd like, so probably a bit too much...
Howdy everyone!
So here’s my dilemma: I have four young bantam/Game fowl cross cockerels who are brothers. They are just over 4 months old (born July 18th). I tried to find homes for them all by asking around (I live in a rural area so I know people who know people who might be able to take...
I have two roosters in my flock that have been living together peacefully for almost two years now. Well just since yesterday I noticed they have started fighting. I've had roosters fight before but these two don't know when to quit. I tried to stand back and watch, hoping they would stop once...
