    Developing comb? Is this chick a rooster?

    This little chick is developing some sort of comb on their head. They are five weeks old. People talk about the comb being pinkish and turning red. Is that what that looks like? Is this likely a roo, or could it still grow up to be a hen?

    Standard Cochin Pullet or Cockerel?

    Hi, I got some gold laced/buff/partridge mix standard Cochin chicks. The're five weeks now. One is obviously a cockerel, but I'm not sure about the more feathered one. Do you think it's a pullet? I suspect it's also a cockerel that just happens to be more feathered at this age.
