So from previous posts I’ve come to realize TSC isn’t the most reliable for gendering and breeding right, but as the chicks are getting older I bought what I thought were 7 Easter egger pullets and I’m thinking there’s some mix ins for breeds which is fine it’s just interesting to watch them...
5 week old Gold Laces Wyandotte
During a hatchery grab your own bin sale we selected a Gold Laced Wyandotte. Unfortunately, didn’t pay attention in all the madness if it was a pullet bin.
Concerns have been pink/flesh colored comb, feathered slower and now I’m seeing iridescent feathering.
So I got some GLD’s from tsc and they’re about 7-8 weeks old.
Suppose to be pullets but this one’s comb and waddle look very red compared to her other 2 sisters.
Like RED.
I attatched some pics but I don’t think the pics do it any justice at how red it really is! The other 2 combs and waddles...
Hello!! This is my 4+ week old Golden Laced Wyandotte. I’m starting to think Jasmine will need to be renamed to Jerry! She has a much larger comb than the other chicks and grew much slower. What do you guys think?
